Cumberland County Recognizes National Crime Victims’ Rights Week April 21-27, 2024

Cumberland County invites you to attend the National Crime Victims' Rights Week Community Event in Lincoln Park, Portland, on April 25th from 10am to 2pm


Cumberland County and the Portland Police Department are hosting the first National Crime Victims' Rights Week Community Event in Lincoln Park on April 25th from 10am to 2pm.

Members of the community are encouraged to attend this public event and  learn how to help survivors. At noon speakers will include District Attorney Jacqueline Sartoris, Deputy DA Angela Cannon, Portland Police Chief Mark Dubois, Director of Victim Services for the State of Maine Cara Cookson, and more.

Cumberland County is proud to join the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) and communities throughout the United States during National Crime Victims’ Rights Week in raising awareness of victims’ rights and honoring crime victims and their advocates.
