The County is using funds provided by The American Rescue Act of 2021 and falls under the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund.
County Government operations are headquartered in the County Courthouse at 142 Federal Street in Portland, the County Seat. Cumberland County also maintains service operations in multiple locations. The new building consolidates Executive Staff, Registry of Deeds, Department of Public Health, Regional Assessing, and Emergency Management Agency together on the same campus.
