Cumberland County Seeks RFQ for Design and Renovation Services of New Building

Cumberland County Government is seeking qualifications from experienced and professional design firms to assist the County with its plans to design and renovate a County-owned building located at 27 Northport Drive in Portland Maine.

The County is seeking firms that have experience with construction management, design, administrative support and traditional project delivery methods. The investment in a County-owned building will be completed using the infusion of funding provided by The American Rescue Act of 2021 and is an eligible project and falls under the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund.  

County Government operations are headquartered in the County Courthouse at 142 Federal Street in Portland, the County Seat. Cumberland County also maintains service operations in multiple locations. The new building consolidates Executive Staff, Registry of Deeds, Department of Public Health, Regional Assessing, and Emergency Management Agency together on the same campus.
