Cumberland County Request for Proposals for Health Equity Professional Development

These services are being solicited to assist the County in its implementation of the Maine Prevention Network grant.
Prevention efforts supported by the Maine CDC.

The role of the contracted services will be to provide foundational trainings to CCPHD and MPN staff from partner organizations on health equity, mental models, and community engagement concepts and approaches, along with technical assistance to support staff in applying these concepts to their MPN work in communities.

The Scope of Work will include developing and implementing a learning series for the CCPHD and other MPN staff on the topics of health equity, root cause analysis and community engagement with special attention paid to putting the concepts into practice. Providing technical assistance and support to the Public Health Department leadership as they work to support staff in designing and implementing health equity initiatives
