Cumberland County delivers it's Recovery Plan Performance Report for State & Local Fiscal Recovery Funds – 2023

The flexibility of the SLFRF has allowed Cumberland County to reach every corner of its jurisdiction, from urban cities like Portland to rural towns like Bridgton and all the populations in between. Cumberland County is using the Recovery Funds for strategic investments to meet the needs of our residents. Projects and programs funded by Cumberland County are aimed at advancing community-driven solutions to recovery that deliver equitable outcomes and transformative change. 

The Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) program, a part of the American Rescue Plan, delivers $350 billion to state, local, and Tribal governments across the country to support their response to and recovery from the COVID-19 public health emergency. The American Rescue Plan has provided $57,300,874.00 to Cumberland County. Recipients are required to comply with Treasury’s Compliance and Reporting Guidance and meet compliance and reporting responsibilities defined in the Final Rule, which includes submitting mandatory periodic reports to Treasury. The County is using a community-driven, data-informed process to ensure the effective, efficient, and equitable distribution of this federal funding
