Cumberland County Government is seeking quotes for public health data analysis services for the County’s Public Health Department.  Selected services include developing an evaluation plan that aligns with the County Public Health Department’s vision; conducting a quantitative analysis of Maine Integrated Youth Health Survey data; and creating communication materials that highlight key findings. MAINE PREVENTION NETWORK

The Maine Center for Disease Control (Maine CDC) organizes and funds the Maine Prevention Network (MPN). Cumberland County Public Health Department is the local lead organization for MPN, supporting prevention efforts throughout Cumberland County, alongside our partners at Portland Public Health, MidCoast Hospital, and OUT Maine. 


A priority of the Maine Prevention Network initiative in Cumberland County is to achieve health equity, which means ensuring everyone has a fair and full opportunity to be as healthy as possible, with a focus on three core areas:

  • Tobacco Use
  • Substance Use
  • Healthy Eating, Active Living
