The mission of the Cumberland County Finance Department is to administer to the financial needs of the county in a prudent and professional manner in accordance with the generally accepted accounting practices (GAAP).Responsibilities
The Finance Department responsibilities include:- General financial oversight of all aspects of daily county activities
- Oversees Annual Audits
- Payroll administration for 400 +/- employees
- Managing accounts payable
- Processing and Reporting of all financial transactions including revenue collections and disbursements
- Working collaboratively with the Human Resources on employee benefit administration
